Is it possible that I purchased 3 out of 5 Roos from a reputable farm? They were 5 weeks old and 98% possibility of being hens. I was so looking forward to fresh eggs!!

Do you have any pictures of your birds? Let us have a look see and we can help you confirm it. At 5 weeks old, the place you bought them from should have been able to sex them fairly well. Definitely by 2 months old you can see pretty distinguishing features between pullets and cockerels.

Welcome to BYC

It is possible, if you bought unsexed (straight run) chicks. But that said, even sexed chicks sometimes throws out a surprise rooster or two.

Sadly there's always a chance of ending up with roosters even if they were 98% possibility of hens. Please post pics, and we'll give you our best opinions on them
