Hello All!

My name is Shannon, and I am a new member. However, I have been reading threads for a few months now. I have two barred rocks (BeepBeep and Jack), and two buff orphingtons (Sheila and Creeper). BeepBeep started laying a couple days ago (woohoo).

I am excited to finally be a member of such a wonderful resource for chicken parents.

Happy to hear that Beep Beep started laying eggs for you!
I am a HUGE Barred Plymouth Rock and Buff Orpington fan and have lots of each in my mixed flock of 40.
Best wishes and great choice on those two breeds to start your flock!
