]. They each have their own little chickenality and are so much fun. Working from home, I love walking out the door at 4PM and seeing my girls come running for some loving. Well, actually, it is probably more likely the meal worms they know they are going to get, but I will take it

Welcome to BYC! Love the mixed flock concept, too. We have 13 hens, made up of RIR's, Buff Orpingtons, Easter Eggers, and one Australorp. Do you like the production reds? We are going to be starting over in July and are looking at Red Stars. If my middle kid joins 4-H this spring, we may be working with some ISA Browns come May. I hear good things, both in production and temperament.
