In the Brooder
We (my family and myself) started raising chickens about 2 years ago. We started out with 3 baby chicks, 2 of them survived to adulthood and turned out to both be roosters..... we also have 6 RIR hens that we got last year in order to make a real flock and to get some eggs finally !! So far all are doing well with occasional issues of the ordinary kind. I have been reading up on all things chickens on the backyard site since the beginning and I felt it was time to officially join. I have to say the site has been the biggest single help to us and we really appreciate everyone and the excellent info/advice.
