I got my first chicken in the late 1970's. After I moved from my parents home it was almost 10 years before I was able to have chickens again. I have now had them for about the last 20 years.

I have 5 girls

2 leghorn,2 Rhode island red and 1 buff orpington

a friend who also has chickens
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
gardening, motorcycle riding, growing and raising orchids
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am self employed - I own a vehicle title and registration service for people who do not like to go the Department of Motor Vehicles. I have 6 employees and we stay really busy. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. My husband and I live on 5 acres in the foothills of Northern California. I do not have any human children, just my animal kids.
