(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My wife and I have been raising chickens for about 2 years now. We have been learning as we go from both sides of the coop.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 2 dozen now with a little one who was born on Christmas day. Yup we named her Christmas.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have the Americana's Rhode Island reds and whites, leghorns australorpes and a variety of silkies
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Anytime we needed information about something pertaining to chickens this website had many posts about many topics pertaining to BYC
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Back Yard Construction. Fixing things.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My wife and I are retired military. I work at the VA. We both enjoy raising our girls and 2 roosters. We will get more girls this summer and hopefully some ducks and turkeys. Serving the Lord is out main priority. We cannot do anything without him. He has blessed us with one of his many beautiful creations. I love my wife and my Girls and boys. (that would be chickens of course)
