I've had chickens, from day-old chicks for the last 3 yrs. so I guess I'm still a Novice. I learned a lot from your site and often want to contribute what different things I've discovered.
There was a post on "Chicken Memory". Mine are extraordinary in that they know where the coop is & when it's time to go in. I let them 'free-range' in the afternoons. They know where my access is to outdoors and can see me through windows. My girls follow me like ducklings following their mom. They hop onto my deck and cluck (Hey, it's time to go in coop)

Welcome to the flock! Looks like you'll be able to help lots of people here!
Welcome to BYC! This is the largest crowd of chicken math infected people you'll ever meet!
Once you join this site you get hopelessly addicted!
It's wonderful to see all you folks who have "been hanging around" finally join in the conversation!
Always room for more folks, be it new chickeneers or those who've been at it for decades! There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!
will never remember & look there first. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down. You'll see the spot for Location. Then go to the bottom and save changes. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the site!
