Hi everyone,

I have loved chickens ever since I was little. In seventh grade I did a science project on hatching incubated eggs, even though I lived in L.A and in an apartment complex. I was successful and out of 12 eggs 10 hatched! Not bad for a seventh grader! I have always treasure my memory of hatching & raising those chicks so it only made sense to get a flock of my own as an adult. Last year after purchasing 10 acres, my family went out and got 8 red sex link pulleys. That’s all she write, now I’m a passionate chicken tender ( get it ). I’m branching out this year with some more variety in flock, especially since the fox enjoyed some chicken on me this winter . I have gotten some buff orpingtons, Cherry Eggers, americaunas, Plymouth Rocks, brahmas, silver spangled Hamburg’s and golden phoenix’s im very excited to see all these chicklets grow. I’m very hopeful to get some Delaware blue hens as well. I’m excited to be a part of this community and look forward to sharing information, experiences and stories.
