Hey! The site says I should introduce myself....so....here I am! My name is Kati. I got my first set of fluffy butts last February. I had been wanting chickens for years, then finally, we moved and I could have some! We went to tractor supply and came home with a box of 2 so,so cute duckies and 6 adorable little fluff balls, which of course turned out to be 5 roos and 1hen. I kept the hen and one roo and traded the other for some layers and bought a few more, and then a few more, and a few more...you get the idea...I currently have 3 chicken brooders and a duck brooder in my basement, yup I am THAT girl (I feel like a girl, but in reality, I think I passed "girl" and moved on to "woman" or "ma'am" a few years ago...lol ;-) ) I live in the northeast with my husband and younger kids on a little over an acre. We love it here and we love the opportunity (for us and our kids )to care for the chickens and other animals.
