(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am a grandmother who has had chickens most of my lifetime and continue to love them more as each precious day passes.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Hum? Sometimes I am a fraid to count-it might scare me too bad. I have 4 faverolles, 5 colored egg layers, 6 mixed breeds from a mixed bantam flock passed down through the years, 1 silkie, 9 bantam white leghorns, 10 black/white mottle D'Uccles, 7 golden neck D'Uccles, 6 Mille Fleur D'uccles Bantams who are on eggs so that number will change, 8 white D'Uccles, 4 morans, 2 speckled sussex , 7 BB red old english and one little throw back from a D'Uccle couple who looks like a little cochin who is Beautiful, o-two lavender orpingtons, 1 welsummer hen and 13 baby chickens from the farm store today

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
While looking for information on Cream legbars and Turkens
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
O gosh-love everything- gardening right now is front and center. Have raised dairy goats in the past , horses, showed rabbits and some chickens. But getting older and bad eyes has changed a lot of that.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a grandmother, widow of 6 years and I love all animals. I had a antique donkey named yukon, and 3 cats who hate each other equally plus my 5 pups that I adore. Also a house full of fish and birds and flowers and just life each and every day as it is a new adventure.
