Grew up around chickens, I got my first chickens the beginning of April.

Eggs and teaching my kids responsibility

I come from a family who have had small farms for several generations. Currently, only myself, and a few cousins have small farms. My wife's family were large scale farmers and ranchers, her uncles still are. We also have 3 labs and a 3 yr old boy.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
Found the site a few months ago lookin for info on what kind of chickens to get. I figured this would be a good place to get info on raising my chickens.
