Absolutely!!!! Need someone to help you research where to get them???In that case, I need another hamster, rabbits, call ducks and turkeys too.
#1 this bird right here is a big reason I love Jersey Giants. She's so floofy and her feathers have an iridescent sheen that is absolutely beautiful.
#2 what's not to like about a Gold Laced Wyandotte? And the Barred Rocks are just so good-natured.
#3 this is Helen, my oldest bird and only pet chicken. In warmer weather she meets me at the henhouse door after a rain, begging to be let out. She follows me around because she knows I'll uncover for her all the worms that have come to the surface.View attachment 1996137View attachment 1996146 View attachment 1996147
Beautiful flock! love the turkey.and here they are in a full size pic, since I almost always forget to tap that button.![]()
Not all of them came out to play. In addition to the layers I have 18 pullets and several roosters that I keep separate and only put the one(s) with the hens I want to breed when I'm ready to incubate.
And Lottie the Turkey keeps everyone in line!
Very pretty!
Love the color
Wow, those are really cool!
Beautiful flock!!!Here are some of the layers. I let them out to forage since it's been such a beautiful day.
So cool & sci~fi otherworldly looking!I'm in Southern Illinois. A friend of my youngest daughter knows someone who raises them. View attachment 1996149 View attachment 1996150
It must be done, right?I want a pair. I found a breeder, care sheet, etc.
Miniature donkeys too!
I would love a neighbor to get goats, so I could watch them and they get all the care, confinement etc. issues.
