Hi folks, Is it ok to join and post as I have a Pekin duck and looking for help and informatio, I’m a disabled single parent with 2 wonderful boys, we have cats, assistance dog and most importantly Comit my sons duck, comit was rescued from one of our parks where my son found him being abused by a group of girls, after a check up with SRSPCA he was deemed ok, he’s with us now and happy, we hope to introduce another 2 for company.

Congratulations on raising a son who was brave enough and compassionate enough to rescue Comit from a group of cruel girls. Also, congrats on joining this group. Members of BYC helped me save the life of one of my ducks.

Hope you are able to find Comit some suitable flock mates. There's plenty of information on site to help you get them integrated to become one happy duck family.

Thank you for rescuing Comit. You will find the best advice for ducks in the Duck Forum. I would suggest you ask any questions you have in that forum and spend some time reading over past threads to learn more about how to properly care for a duck and provide it with a safe home. Good luck.
