Hi Everyone!

I’m not new to backyard chickens but I am a new official member. I’ve had chickens for about three years now.

I now have four chickens. Sadly we lost a few to some predators this winter.

I have 3 red sex links and 1 black araucana.

I love the sounds the chickens make, having fresh eggs and seeing my kids grow like up raising animals.

I enjoy being outside, hiking, making things with my hands and travel!

Glad to be here (officially!!)

Hate that you've had some losses to predators! There are plenty of ideas on the predator/pest forum for keeping the predators away! A lot of our members have had success with electric fencing and hot wires. Thanks for joining our flock!
