Dear all, I'm delighted to join your community. I've had chickens since the late 1990s and have a mixed age flock that I keep for fun and multi-coloured eggs. I'm based in the UK (midlands) and keep hybrid layers plus a few pure breed birds. I've found BYC a great source of information and advice on a wide range of chicken-related queries and after lurking for a long time, I finally took the plunge and joined.
