[Horseheads Chicken Novice]

Hi,

I've had free range chickens for 10 years. Generally keep 10-20.

Last years chicks left me with an unexpected rooster and I have some broody hens so decided to try and naturally hatch some chicks.

Now I need help!

Will see if I can find any answers in the articles.

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
What do you need help with? As long as your broody hen has her wits about her, she should do fine with the chicks in the flock. You just have to feed an All Flock or Flock Raiser type food that she can feed the chicks and offer oyster shell on the side in several containers for the active layers and everyone should be fine. This is the way you should feed regardless because of the rooster. He shouldn't be eating layer feed any more than the chicks should.
