Hello all, I'm Olga and new to any sort of on-line community. My flock of 13 hens includes 3 age groups and consists of EE's. Marans, one Ancona and 2 Austra Whites. They've done a great job on the weeds in my back yard and are now busy excavating. I don't have the luxury of a flat piece of yard. Instead I have a somewhat steep slope so my coop and run are under the back deck and stairs. The chickens don't seem to mind. I decided to keep chickens (to my husband's surprise) after I retired. I love my birds. They're funny, smart, clever, and infinitely entertaining. I learn somthing new from them every day.
