Welcome to BYC. Does your cross beak seem to be getting enough nutrition? It helps if you pile up the feed for them so they have a better chance of connecting with some of it.

He does eat well, we wet his food for him and he eats very well doing that we also add vitamins to his feed. The problem that we have is he is only the size of maybe a 2 month old chicken(he and his flock mates are 5 months) but the chickens that we got with him are all normal size. His head also seems to be smaller then it should be.
