Sometimes it starts by walking into TSC at the wrong time-or for me, the right time, which was CLEARANCE CHICKS! At $1 each, a dozen sounded about right! 7 were sexed as pullets and the other 5 are anybody's guess.....but talk about driving right in! Here in rural Arkansas, chickens are everywhere but I've not had a chance to own any until we moved a year ago. I'm excited to know that others might be able to get me figure out what breeds they are as well as have a resource for general chicken knowledge. They're going on 5 weeks so it appears the hard part is out of the way and the fun is in the future!
