My name is Dave. I live in the Florida panhandle. I'm a retired disabled navy vet. Raising chickens is part hobby, part because I love fresh eggs. I live out of town so I don't have to worry about neighbors squalking. I have rirs, one rooster, two hens. Had 9 hens til coons found them. By the time I was able to keep them out, I was almost out of the chicken business...got ten eggs in the incubator now. Nine days til hatch. If they hatch. It's hard to tell which end is pointed on my eggs. Candles a few days ago and almost all were upside down. Saw air sack was on the bottom so I flipped them over. Hope they hatch!
