I’m actually not sure if I’m a new member because I’ve been browsing for a few years now. But it can’t seem to locate my userid/password so here we go.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I’ve been doing layers since 2014 a year after we moved to rural/suburban N.C. from big ol NYC.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 13. Odd number but lost a few to neighbor dogs.
(3) What breeds do you have? Red ones. Black ones. White ones. Grey ones (easter eggers). My wife knows the breeds. I’m just the labor.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Feeling like I’m country born and raised.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Cycling, hiking, taking walks in the rain. Pina colada have too many calories.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Two dogs. A cat. Wife. Three adult daughters, granddaughter
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Google. Since 2013.
