(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I have had my girls for 2 1/2 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Just 2; started out with 3 chicks from a hatchery (love the MHP method I learned by “stalking” this site!). One died suddenly at 18 months (didn’t know about chicken necropsy at the time).
(3) What breeds do you have? Buff Orpington and Golden Laced Wyandotte.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Watching them; what a hoot!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Hiking, kayaking, gardening.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. 2 grown boys, 2 cats, 1 fish, 1 husband
