Hi My name is D and I am new to the chicken world and to this group. I was recently gifted 2 baby chicks that are now bout 5 weeks old, I'm really not sure what breed they are or what sex. right now we are currently trying to learn as much as possible about these cute little chicks so we can raise them properly and give them a great home. Any advise is welcomed.

Welcome! I can say you will enjoy it here! I joined a couple of months ago and this is one big family where we are all here for each other!

Here are some pics . can anyone tell me what breed they are or what sex

They look like White Plymouth Rocks. If they were White Leghorns, their wattles and comb would be prominent, but arnt.
Anyway, you'll know for sure in time. White Rocks lay brown eggs and White Leghorns lay white eggs.
