Welcome to BYC. Years ago I was present at the International Kennel Club (Chicago) - the first show where Vizsla Breed approved by the AKC were able to compete. One such dog managed to slip off the benching(even though on show bench chain) and I coaxed back up. No one came to check on him. I recall dog's name was Zhomi von Selle. I was afraid he would choke himself. He was a nice dog.
My Cocker was on the bench next to him, and took advantage of my back being turned to pig out on on the Mackinac (spelling?) Island fudge I had been eating. Luckily he didn't sicken from it - but had slobbered all over the rest of it. I was twelve then so didn't care and ate the fudge anyway when it dried up.
