Hello fellow chickeners,
i am veery new to having a small flock of chickens
i go by the Handle of MrPatterson,
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
-very new i got my chickens 2.5 weeks ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
-i have 8 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have?
-my chickens consist of- 3 Barred Rocks, 3 Rhode Island Reds, & 2 Americanas
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
-the learning experience for myself and my children and EGGS my very own renewable food source!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
-some of my hobbies are fishing, most outdoors things, skiing,
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
-i have a family of 5 with two small dogs, my wife and i are self employed
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
i found BYC searching for ideas on building a chicken coop a year ago, i figured i should join a become a part of the BYC community. lots to learn and share
