A niacin deficiency will not occur overnight, nor does it usually occur during the age you have described.

If the duck is still able to walk - just a slight limp, it is likely she received some soft tissue damage (sprains/strains). That can occur due to over-mating from the males, or after tripping/getting their legs caught in things. This a common problem, and luckily most birds recover within a week or two. Adequate time in water, administering NSAIDS, and reducing movement can all hasten healing time.

If the duck is completely unable to walk, you may be dealing with something more serious. In which case you may post a thread here on the duck forums including a video of the duck, and any physical findings on the legs. If a vet is an option, that would be preffered.
