Hello! New member here! I live in Christiana PA, have had chickens for 3 years now and currently have 9 ladies (had roosters but gave up after each one turned devil and started attacking me and the family that would care for them when we were away) I have a 30’ x 40’ area fenced for them but also let them loose in my yard for extra fun. I have a nice large coop that in the past 6 months started laying a tarp under their shavings and it made it much easier to clean the coop. (Little hack I found on a Facebook post) Came in quite handy when I broke my arm! My ladies are quite social and friendly and for a snack love tomatoes, pepper tops/seeds, watermelon, & cooked pasta. They are also obsessed with Cheerios and grubblies. Looking forward to learning additional ways to care, hacks for coop or yard, snacks and entertainment.
