We have had chickens for 10 years. Currently have 3 serama hens and 1 silkie rooster (see rehoming thread - boo hoo). Raised rhode islands before these. Love having them as outdoors pets. Eggs are added bonus when we get them! Our kids were little when we got original flock and we wanted our kids to know where their food came from and how much effort goes into making 1 egg! Other hobbies include camping, dog walking, and travel. Glad to be here.
