He sure doesn't look like a pure Orpington. I'm thinking along the same lines as @sourland I would really be wondering if a sneaky neighbor rooster hopped the fence

That's the problem none of my other roosters have access, could it be in the genes from say grandparents etc because I am baffled more so because all the others I have hatched have been looking just like pure buffs
