About 30 years ago I raised large production for Tyson/Perdue, to the tune of 70k. But that is a long way from backyard chickens! We've been working toward being self sustainable and are thinking chickens should be next. It is just the two of us so am thinking 4 hens, maybe one rooster down the road. In the Augusta, GA area is any suggestions for feed source other than TSC.
