Hi Lesa here. I've had chickens for right around 10 years now i started with 5 when i lived in town. Now i have 45 laying hens and 5 Roos.
i have many breeds and some mix breeds of chickens that i hatched from my flock. Barred Rocks, Rhode Reds, Leghorns, Ameraucanas, Black Asian, Black Australorp, Buff Orpington, Brahmas (white & buff) 2 Silkies and 2 Silkie x Golden Buff Rooster hens, 2 silkie x Asian Rooster hens. silkies are great moms they've day on they're own eggs and hatched 13 babies between my 2 original silkie hens. i love my chickens and name them the ones that look alike get called the same name lolol. i have 5 dogs that i love dearly too.
i also love gardening, kayaking, traveling, and music concerts.
my biggest joy to my 3 children and 3 grandchildren, oh and my hubby and best friend/sister!!! that's my world
