Are you sure they are not maggot

I am not sure..only two quails have the problem..and gave me medication for all of them..i do not know how to give the pills(first time) and i am little bit scared if can my quails swallow them

Can you post a picture of the pills? What exactly are they? How big are they?

Are those tablets with a score line? If so you can snap them in half and pop one half into the beak, let the bird swallow then repeat for the second half.
