My wife and I are looking for properties in S Alabama and as well as raising forage and principally goats, aim to have some dual purpose chickens with excellent predator avoidance, good mothering, and living on spare forage they can find on what's being grown for the goats.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? New.
(4) What [will be] your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Survival food & barter, some extra income in the meantime, enjoy the animals
