Swedish flower hens
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
the fact that we are able to raise our hens in a loving/caring environment where they can be chickens and get eggs from chickens that we know are being properly cared for
Daily fresh eggs and just the daily snuggles from chickens are the best!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
cooking/baking/ road trips/ gardening, crafting, and praying
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have an RN hospital background of 9 years but became a SAHM last year. We have 4 boys, 2 hamsters, 3 chickens and an Australian shepherd mix puppy named Theodore. I serve on our church prayer team and I love to pray for people and watch Jesus work in peoples lives. I also love serving our homeless communities
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
it was through a google search about a year ago and I had started researching chickens. The information was very helpful and encouraging
