I've read BC for several years, but never joined or posted. We usually keep around 2 dozen girls in a mixed flock. Last winter a mink killed many of them so we're basically starting over. We've got the standard full size breeds and a few bantams for variety. They get named and we make pets of them - if they're willing. We get them at a farm store or from other local breeders.
