Hello I live in Alabama. I have raised chickens off and on most of my life( and gunnies). My mom had chickens when I was growing up and my dad had gunnies.
I found back yard chickens on the internet when I was trying to find a way to help my crippled baby gunny.
Now I have a new Anatolian shepherd puppy and want to learn how to keep her from chasing and kill my chickens and gunnies. She is only 6 weeks old but want to teach before she starts.
I want her to protect my animals and not hurt them.

A dog that will protect our poultry is priceless. We have two that aren't technically LGDs, but they do that job well. It's worth it to work with yours as needed, as someday it may save them.
