Pretty new. March 2024

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
42- 1 rooster, 10 hens, 1 cockerel, 17 pullets, and 12-6 week old chicks that I’m not sure of sex yet
(3) What breeds do you have?

Orpington
Maran
Ameracauna
Wyandotte
Ayam Cemani
(Chicks only)
Cochin
Brahma
Swedish Flower

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Entertainment and interaction with my chickens

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I just like to “piddle” (as my husband calls it!).

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Married with 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. We have a small farm with horses, cattle, goats, chickens, ducks, turkey, cats and dogs.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Researching everything about chickens on google, since February 2024, I spend so much time reading the posts that I figured I might as well be a member
