Thanks, Hopefully someone will jump in. When we brought home a new dog, the chickens all came running and she spooked and ran away, never having seen one before. She thought they were after her! lol I was wondering if I should start over with a new batch and let her see them small at first.

Collar and leash would be a good idea to start.

Hi, it's nice to have you here with us. Most of the dog/chicken interactions I've read about here are where the dogs chase the birds...not the birds chasing the dogs. @sourland has a lot of experience with both dogs and birds so his advice makes good sense.
