Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

If you haven't found it yet, I'd head over the the Learning Center. There you will find tons of articles about raising chickens and ducks!

If you check under the forums, you'll see there's a duck one there too.
Thank-you! I am finding a lot of great information here. Is there a forum for raising ducks and chickens or geese, ducks and chickens together?

There's a forum under the Forum tab above for most poultry/waterfowl. Like here's Ducks. So you could ask in one of those about raising them all together.

The lady farmer across the road raises turkeys, geese, chickens, and ducks. They all hang out in their own "clan" and don't really mingle. The geese are definitely in charge over there though. I get them all circling me and honking up a storm whenever I go over there. The female turkey she had, used to come over here and hang out. She liked us I guess.

I do know one thing I learned here on BYC was that if you have male ducks (drakes) around chickens, there is a possibility he could try breeding hens, and that can kill the hen. It's not a certain thing that they would do that, but one should watch out for it when first letting them all live in the same area.
