Hello, I'm new to chicken raising. Just purchase my first batch of chicks last week. We'll be building the coop and chicken yard in a couple of weeks and I'm excited. I've always wanted to have some girls in my yard and finally live is a place that will accommodate them. I've been reading like mad all winter and now have made that a reality. Thanks for allowing me to join I look forward to reading real life stories, problem solving and just plain sharing.
