(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I had chickens when I lived in Bandera, TX. They were my first flock. I absolutely LOVED being a Chickie Mama!! They had just started laying eggs when I got a notice from my company that I had been with for 24 years was moving to Fort Worth, so it was follow the work or loose my job. It was soooo hard to let them go to new homes. I felt like I was adopting out my kids! Broke my heart. They were Easter Eggers, Barred Rocks, Red Sexlinks, Silkies and Buff Orphingtons.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 3 right now
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Buffs and one Barred Rock
(4) What are some of your other hobbies? Walking/Jogging, hiking, working out
(5) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 4 kiddos. 2 in AK, 1 in WA and 1 in CA. I have 6 grandkids too. I've worked in the corporate side of AT&T for over 25 years now. I have 2 cats and we are i the process of adopting a dog.
Im excited and glad to be in this group and look forward to learning more from others.
