Hiya, Nikki, and welcome to BYC! :frow

Are you incubating any now? I want to, but I have to wait a bit. It's very addictive, isn't it?

We're glad you're here!
Yes I am! I'm incubating Brahmas and currently on Day 17. I noticed they started wiggling. Should I lockdown already and increase humidity?

You sure can! Typically it's Day 18 but Day 17 is fine too.

I actually get early pippers (silkies) all the time so I lockdown and increase humidity about five days prior to hatch.

Hi! I've been reading threads here for a while now. I've started incubating rhode island reds last year and now have a dozen of them. I've also added Brahmas to the family!
Nice welcome I am doing the exact thing you said above. I just got a kirikiki. Who’s about 6 weeks old and I have about 8 chicks hatching this week. Welcome to the community!
