Hello , my husband and I just wanted a few chickens so we could have fresh eggs andchicken for the freezer that we knew were as organic as we could make them . Between Rural King and TSC we have ended up with 54 chicks. We would have more but they sold out before we could buy them. Every chick is too cute to be left behind , that and our psych doc was on vacation. So we quickly gave up our greenhouse and turned it into temporary housing until we could build a coop (it is almost done now). Unfortunatly we fell in love with the chicks and did not even look at what they were so now we wait and see just what we have. They are between 2 and 8 weeks old and as soon as I can I will post pics so we can try and identify them.

I look forward to participating in the forums and have many questions and much to learn. I wish to thank everyone now for all the help I know we will get.
