The chicken run in the pictures (above) I just finished this year. Its 365 feet in circumference and 6 1/2 feet tall. I buried 6 inches of plastic coated fence wire that the chicken wire is attached to. I got tired of the neighborhood dogs killing off my flock. The fence is made by welding rebar to the top of T-posts with a eyelet on the top. I ran number 9 wire corner to corner thru the eyelets then suspended the chicken wire with rings to the #9 wire and fasten with J clips to the buried fence wire and each run of the chicken wire.

I've had good luck hatching guinea eggs on the incubator with adding chicken eggs one week into the incubation to have the whole batch hatch at once and raised together. The guineas do fly out and patrol the property of bugs and ticks.
