lol Shane. Hi Oldguy. I have a friend that lives in Texas. We met when my son and her daughter went to Marine bootcamp at the same time, and have stayed in touch ever since.

I like them very much, but they haven't laid any eggs yet. We had some a long, long time ago. We just started raising them again this past spring. The rooster I have is very mean though, and will come after you, so I take a stick to put between me and him, and he tries to attack the stick. lol

HI Debbie!
welcome-byc.gif
from S. Florida! Its great to have you here with us!

We have had a red-tailed hawk around here, but I don't think it bothers the chickens. I took this picture of it. I love taking photos.

I'm sure I will like it here chickenonthehill. Hopefully I will learn a lot. I love to learn, do reserach, and find out things from my own experiences, as well as learning from other people's experiences.

So many people here from all over. I have a brother-in-law that lives in Florida, a brother-in-law in Mich., 2 sister-in-laws from Ohio, one brother-in-law from Oregon, and one brother-in-law from Panama. All of my family lives here in NC, but my husband's family is everywhere. lol
