Hello! Tho I have been visiting this site for awhile now, I am just now officially a member! I just took in a flock of chickens that a friend could no longer care for. I had been wanting chickens for awhile, so this was ideal! It's mixed breeds, none of which I know for sure. I have six laying hens and 3 roosters (I know, I know).
I recently bought a home in the catskill mountains of New York and have an open air coop and two closed coops with a very large fenced in run.
I am excited to start participating in the community, as of course, I have many questions!
