thank you all for the information. Also just for information on predator prevention. I put a pair of geese in with my chickens and have almost no predetation, they also seen to help cut down on mice in my feed storage area. My chickens run in lot of about 92 feet by20. they have a smaller lot covered of about 16x20 that I let them run at night if not to cold and I lock them in house. A older man told me about the geese, says they act like a guard dog one would use with sheep or outher livestock. Just thought I would share this with you all. thanks 1 old hen
