Hello all,
I have a quick question, there has been a lot of loose feathers on the ground in the chicken house, it looks like they are molting and growing new feathers, it that the reason chickens stop laying eggs. There has been a significant decrease in egg laying. Please help

Yes, their food energy goes to producing feathers instead of eggs. It's normal they'll start up again when the molt is done.
