I decided to change out my flock this year and I am wanting some good Heritage breed chickens. I am looking for some Rhode Island Reds, French Black Copper Marans, Barred Rocks and Delawares. I have ordered hatching eggs but haven't had any luck. Does anyone nearby have any of these? I have seen some on Craigslist but am weary of them not being what I want.

I would prefer not to use a hatchery but if I have to which should I use? Thanks

Hello! I'm finally dropping in to introduce myself! I'm from Edgewood NM. I've had my chickens for 1.5 yrs now and I learned everything I know from all you on BYC! My girls and I say thank you very much! I have spend countless hours on here....just like now, I'm supposed to be outside painting my back porch and trims! I will post some photos with time...once I learn how too. I have 8 girls and a cob coop ( which we all love so very much).....more to follow soon! Take care!
