So sorry to hear that. Try catching the next Edgewood poultry swap (on the 28th if weather is good).
At the last swap there were lots of ducks... Runners, khakis and muscoveys.

If anyone in the Abq area that has any silkies, seramas or non game bantams please let me know, I need these breeds to replenish my stock, many thanks everyone, will pay top dollar...chicks, pullets or younger laying hens please....

If you can hold out until May 6th (a Weds) that's when The Village Mercantile in Corrales is supposed to get in the first of their bantam series in for Chick Days:
Bantams = Cochins, silkies, Dutch Bantams and Seabrights.

On May 20th is their second wave: Frizzle bantams, dutch bantams, Japanese Bantaoms and assorted Old English Bantams.

I would like to know if there is a 'typical' worming regimen for chickens in NM. I have at least one in my flock of 5 that has tapeworm and I am starting the Wazine (first worming ever) and then planning to use something powerful enough for the tapeworms in 10 days, after the Wazine clears out any of the roundworms and other types that it works on.
